If you prioritize portability and higher screen resolution, the Razer Blade 15 is sleeker and provides a sharper display. However, if cost is a concern and you prefer a larger screen for gaming and general use, the Acer Nitro 17 is less expensive and has a bigger display, albeit with lower resolution. The Acer also offers slightly longer battery life for extended use, but the Razer is better suited for demanding tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning due to its more powerful graphics. Keep in mind that the Razer Blade 15 is lighter, which might be a deciding factor if you travel frequently. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Acer Nitro 17 is good.
The Razer Blade 15 stands out for engineering and design use due to its superior Intel processor, higher resolution screen, and a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, resulting in better performance for demanding tasks and content creation. Although larger, the Acer Nitro 17 offers a substantial screen with respectable specifications, its AMD Ryzen processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU don't quite match the Razer Blade's performance, but it may offer slightly longer battery life and benefits from more ports, which could be useful for connectivity.

How the Acer Nitro 17 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 17 isn't an exceptional gaming laptop; it's kind of chunky even among 17.3-inch notebooks, with a lackluster keyboard, and it doesn't outperform comparably priced machines. But there's a lot to like about it, including a good array of ports, a screen that's sharp and bright for work and play alike, and battery life that soundly beats the competition. All this comes at an affordable price. If size and weight aren't big concerns, you'll find the Nitro 17 a dependable big-screen gaming rig. If you crave higher quality, consider a slight step down or up in screen size with the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 or Alienware m18 respectively."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
