When choosing between the Acer Nitro 17 and the MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo, consider that the Acer Nitro 17 is generally less expensive and offers a larger 17.3-inch screen which is ideal for gaming or multitasking. However, its larger size makes it less portable than the MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo, which has a 16-inch high-resolution OLED screen, known for vibrant colors and deep blacks, particularly suited for creative work. The MSI also boasts double the memory of the Acer, which is beneficial for demanding tasks like video editing or 3D rendering. The MSI Prestige's slim and lighter design enhances portability but its higher price reflects the premium features. Both run Windows 11 Home and come with ample storage space. The right choice depends on your preference for portability and screen quality versus price and screen size. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | October 2023
"The Acer Nitro 17 isn't an exceptional gaming laptop; it's kind of chunky even among 17.3-inch notebooks, with a lackluster keyboard, and it doesn't outperform comparably priced machines. But there's a lot to like about it, including a good array of ports, a screen that's sharp and bright for work and play alike, and battery life that soundly beats the competition. All this comes at an affordable price. If size and weight aren't big concerns, you'll find the Nitro 17 a dependable big-screen gaming rig. If you crave higher quality, consider a slight step down or up in screen size with the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 or Alienware m18 respectively."

Mark Anthony Ramirez | December 2023
"The MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo is meant to be a business-focused laptop, but it ends up being the MacBook challenger PC laptop enthusiasts have longed for. Not only can it meet and, in many cases, surpass the M2-powered MacBooks, but it is also surpassing the baseline M3 MacBooks, which is a giant leap forward for Intel-powered laptops. This isn’t hyperbole; this is what the numbers show."
