The Acer Nitro 17 and ASUS TUF Gaming A15 both offer a solid gaming experience but differ in their specs. The Nitro 17 comes with a larger 17.3-inch screen for immersive gameplay, which could be beneficial if portability is not a priority. On the other hand, the TUF Gaming A15 has a smaller 15.6-inch screen that might make it a better option if you plan to carry your laptop frequently. While the TUF A15 is a bit pricier, it features a more powerful graphics card, leading to potentially higher gaming performance. It's also lighter, making it easier to transport. Battery life is an important consideration too, and we don't have specific information on that, so you may want to look into how each model performs if you need the laptop to last longer on the go. The right choice depends on whether you value a larger display and lower cost with the Acer or better graphics and portability with the ASUS. Give Feedback

PCMag

Mark Knapp | October 2023
"The Acer Nitro 17 isn't an exceptional gaming laptop; it's kind of chunky even among 17.3-inch notebooks, with a lackluster keyboard, and it doesn't outperform comparably priced machines. But there's a lot to like about it, including a good array of ports, a screen that's sharp and bright for work and play alike, and battery life that soundly beats the competition. All this comes at an affordable price. If size and weight aren't big concerns, you'll find the Nitro 17 a dependable big-screen gaming rig. If you crave higher quality, consider a slight step down or up in screen size with the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 or Alienware m18 respectively."

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | June 2023
"With the release of the TUF Gaming A15, Asos have concentrated on the essentials: gaming performance. Our base version, which can be had for around $1,169, already provided enough power to play current games smoothly in a native resolution of 1080p and with maximum details - thanks to its new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop. If you utilize upscaling, then you can even manage to run ray tracing."
