The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is less expensive, more portable, and has enough power for general use and everyday tasks; however, it falls short in performance for gaming or engineering software compared to the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro. The Legion 5 Pro offers superior graphics, a faster processor, and a higher resolution display, making it a better fit for demanding gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, but it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. If you need high performance for intensive tasks and don't mind the extra weight and cost, the Legion 5 Pro could be the better choice. If you prioritize portability, battery life, and a more budget-friendly option, the Aspire Vero 15 is better suited for you. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Pro 5 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 offers a screen that is sufficient for everyday tasks and productivity with decent resolution and brightness, but it falls short for gaming and 3D applications due to a lower refresh rate and lacks the extensive color range needed for high-level engineering and design work. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 provides a high-quality display with vibrant colors and sharp details for both general use and professional engineering and design tasks, thanks to its superior color accuracy covering wider gamuts, but like the Acer, it is not optimal for gaming or 3D work because of a refresh rate that isn't high enough for the smoothest visual experience. Both laptops prioritize different aspects of screen quality, with the Acer focusing on the basics at a likely lower price point, and the Lenovo excelling in color and clarity for more demanding professional use, yet neither is designed with the highest gaming performance in mind.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"It doesn't quite match its Legion Pro 7i sibling as an Editors' Choice winner, but Lenovo's AMD-powered Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 is a stylish, well-built gaming laptop with solid performance at both 1080p and its sharper native resolution. It's cheaper than some comparably equipped machines and better than some similarly priced ones. That's a recipe for success, even without its frequent availability of discounts or sales. A brighter screen and longer battery life would be nice, but even as is the Legion Pro 5 earns a solid recommendation."
