The Acer Aspire Vero 15 offers decent general performance with a higher emphasis on sustainability and a larger screen, making it suitable for everyday tasks and might have an edge in multi-tasking due to more RAM. However, the Acer Swift X (2021) presents better value for tasks involving graphics, like 3D rendering or machine learning, thanks to its dedicated Nvidia graphics card. It also has better battery life and is lighter, hence more portable. If gaming or graphic-intensive work is your priority, the Swift X is more appropriate, whereas for less demanding tasks and a preference for a larger display, the Aspire Vero may be more comfortable to use. The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Swift X boasts better resolution and brightness, making for a sharper, more vibrant display compared to the Acer Aspire Vero 15, which offers a decent display but may not be as crisp or vivid. The Swift X also supports a wider range of colors through extended color gamuts, vital for precision in engineering and design tasks, whereas the Aspire Vero's colors may appear less accurate in professional applications. However, neither laptop is ideal for gaming and 3D since they lack high refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth motion and rendering, though they maintain acceptable resolution and panel types for casual use.

The Acer Swift X (2021) and Acer Aspire Vero 15 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is equipped with integrated Iris Xe graphics, which offers fair performance for gaming and 3D tasks but lacks the muscle of dedicated GPUs, and it's complemented by a standard screen refresh rate that is adequate for casual gaming but may not be ideal for fast-paced titles. On the other hand, the Acer Swift X includes a more capable Nvidia RTX 3050 dedicated GPU and boasts similar screen refresh rate, providing better handling of gaming and 3D applications despite its somewhat less powerful CPU and smaller screen size compared to the Aspire Vero 15.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Acer Swift X (2021) compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
