The Acer Aspire Vero 15, while more expensive, has robust performance for general use and can handle engineering tasks. It offers good color reproduction on its display, convenient for work involving visuals, but it's heavier, affecting portability. The Acer Swift 3 is less expensive and lighter, making it highly portable, comes with a touchscreen, and has longer battery life, but it has slightly less power than the Vero 15. It's better suited for general use and multi-tasking. Choose the Vero 15 if you need more power and visual accuracy for tasks like photo editing or engineering. Opt for the Swift 3 if you prioritize battery life, portability, and value touchscreen features. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift 3 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 has a display that, while adequate for everyday tasks and applications due to its resolution and brightness, lacks the expansive color range engineers and designers need for precision work; for gaming, the lower refresh rate can make fast-paced visuals less smooth. On the other hand, the Acer Swift 3 offers improved screen quality with sharper resolution and higher brightness, beneficial for general use and detailed engineering and design work, though it still falls short for gaming due to a refresh rate that isn't high enough to deliver the most fluid visual experience. Gamers, especially, might find both laptops lacking because high refresh rates are essential for smooth gameplay, and neither laptop excels in this regard.

The Acer Swift 3 and Acer Aspire Vero 15 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Acer Swift 3 are both considered fair for gaming and 3D tasks primarily because they are equipped with integrated graphics, which are less powerful than dedicated GPUs, and have standard screen refresh rates of 60Hz, which are not as smooth as higher refresh rates found in gaming-specific laptops. Additionally, while both have decent processors and screens, they lack the high-end specifications necessary to excel in performance-intensive tasks, marking them as better suited for general use rather than dedicated gaming or professional 3D work.

How the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and the Acer Swift 3 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
