When choosing between the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the Lenovo ThinkPad T14, consider that the Acer may save you money and offer a larger screen for comfortable viewing, but may not match the ThinkPad's build quality and performance in demanding tasks. The ThinkPad T14 often has a sturdier build, better keyboard, and higher performance, which suits intensive work like engineering or data analysis, but this comes with a higher cost. If you're frequently on the move, the ThinkPad's more compact size and possibly longer battery life could be beneficial, whereas the Acer's larger screen is less portable. Choose based on your priorities: savings and screen size, or performance and portability. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 5 17 and the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"We like a lot about this laptop. It has many ports, with the inclusion of RJ45-Ethernet as a defining feature. WWAN is upgradable for maximum flexibility and the ThinkPad has many security functions. Working with the ThinkPad input devices is a lot of fun, and Lenovo puts in a serviceable Low Power panel. The AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7840U delivers a great performance and does not drain the battery fast. Fan noise and temperatures are nothing special, but also far away from bad. With the user replaceable keyboard, the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 has a special feature rarely present on most modern laptops."
