The Acer Aspire 5 17 is less expensive and offers a larger 17.3-inch display with good battery life, making it suitable for general use and well-suited for productivity tasks. However, its performance may not be adequate for more demanding 3D, machine learning, or gaming tasks. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is more costly, but it provides superior performance for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, and gaming, thanks to its powerful processor and dedicated graphics card. It has a smaller, higher resolution touchscreen display, better suited for users who prioritize portability and top-notch performance in a compact form. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 5 17 is only fair.
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers better gaming and 3D performance with its Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU that supports higher quality graphics and faster screen refresh rate at 165 Hz, compared to the Acer Aspire 5 17 which has an Intel Iris Xe GPU and a lower 60 Hz screen refresh rate, providing fair performance for gaming and 3D tasks. The ASUS's superior CPU and higher quality display also contribute to its more immersive gaming experience, although the Acer provides a fair experience at a potentially lower price point.

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 5 17 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 5 17, with its fair screen quality, probably has decent resolution and brightness making it suitable for general use, but it may lack the wide color gamuts needed for precise engineering and design tasks, and its refresh rate may not be high enough to provide a smooth experience in fast-paced 3D applications. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13’s very good screen quality suggests it likely offers a high resolution and brightness for crisp and clear visuals in general use, and strong color accuracy which benefits professionals in engineering and design, but like the Acer, it probably doesn’t have a high enough refresh rate for the best gaming and 3D rendering experiences. For users who prioritize general use and work in engineering and design, the ASUS appears superior, but gamers and those using 3D applications may need to look for laptops with screens offering higher refresh rates.

"The Acer Aspire 5 17 laptop shows the expected strengths in the test. Besides the usual high build quality, the configuration convinces in most benchmarks and tests. The combination of CPU, GPU, and RAM is absolutely sufficient for the everyday office and browsing tasks of a laptop. It also renders the odd game passably if the requirements aren't too high. We liked the matte display in the test as well as the fairly manageable dimensions despite the screen size. It can also be used outdoors, even if it's certainly not a laptop designed for mobility."
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
