The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is a budget-friendly choice that's less expensive and offers solid performance for everyday tasks with a fanless, silent operation and good battery life; however, it has modest storage and processor power. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13, on the other hand, is more expensive but delivers high-end performance suitable for intensive gaming, engineering tasks, and 3D rendering with a strong processor and graphics card, and it's also very portable. If you need exceptional performance for demanding applications and can invest more, the ASUS is a better fit. Conversely, the Acer is suitable for general use and will save you money. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14's fair screen quality for general use, engineering, and design is due to its adequate resolution and brightness, but it falls short in color reproduction, which is critical for detailed design work. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13, with its higher resolution and brightness, provides sharp, vivid images that make it excellent for general use and professional design tasks, with a color range that appeals to engineers and artists. However, both laptops are not optimal for gaming and 3D because they lack high refresh rates, which are essential for smooth motion and a responsive gaming experience.

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | November 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 Spin 14 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and its compact design makes it easy to carry around. The battery lasts around seven hours of light use, so you only have to plug it in for a short time to get through a typical school day. The overall user experience is so-so; the display looks sharp but dim, and the touchpad is fairly responsive, albeit small."
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
