If you prioritize performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or intensive gaming, the Lenovo LOQ 15 would be a more suitable choice as it has a stronger processor and more advanced GPU. However, it comes with a higher price tag and is heavier, which reduces its portability compared to the Acer Aspire 3 15. The Acer is less expensive and offers good battery life and a lightweight design, making it ideal for general use and easy to carry around. It lacks the high-speed display and computing power of the Lenovo, making it less optimal for resource-intensive applications. Give Feedback

The Lenovo LOQ 15 is good for general use, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is only fair.
The Lenovo LOQ 15 surpasses the Acer Aspire 3 15 with a more powerful CPU, double the RAM, and better screen brightness, contributing to its 'good' rating for general use, while the Aspire manages a 'fair' rating with a weaker CPU and half the RAM, although it's lighter and has silent operation. Additionally, the Lenovo LOQ 15's battery life is longer and has significantly superior keyboard and speaker quality, which overall makes it more suitable for extensive work and entertainment compared to the Acer model.

The Lenovo LOQ 15 is good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is poor.
The Lenovo LOQ 15 offers a better gaming and 3D experience primarily because it features a more powerful Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate, which are very important for smooth and detailed visual performance. In contrast, the Acer Aspire 3 15 comes with a less capable AMD Radeon 610M GPU and a lower refresh rate, which although adequate, delivers a less optimal gaming experience.

The Lenovo LOQ 15 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3's screen provides adequate clarity, resolution, and brightness for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming, but lacks the color range professionals need for precise engineering and design work. While the Lenovo LOQ 15 offers better color accuracy and wider color gamuts, making it suitable for more detailed visual work in design fields, its lower refresh rate limits its potential for smooth gameplay in fast-paced 3D environments. Both struggle with gaming due to subpar refresh rates, so gamers looking for fluid visuals and responsiveness would find these laptops lacking.

Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
