The Acer Aspire 3 15 is more budget-friendly, but it has lower storage, less RAM, and a less powerful processor compared to the HP EliteBook 845 G9. While the Acer offers good portability and better value for casual use, the HP, with its higher battery capacity and overall superior build, is better suited for professional and engineering tasks. The HP EliteBook also has a premium build, enhanced screen resolution, and better performance for demanding applications, but it will cost you more. If portability is paramount and your tasks are general in nature, the Acer could be a great choice, but for intensive workloads, consider investing in the HP. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the HP EliteBook 845 G9 compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The high-end version of the HP EliteBook 845 G9 with a Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS, 32GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD packs a lot of power, but is still quiet and cool enough to operate in noise-sensitive environments. Quiet, cool and drawing on a massive 40 watts from the APU at the same time, however, is not possible. The 14-incher only has a single-fan solution and it only just manages to keep an near unthrottled Ryzen 9 in check."
