The Acer Aspire 3 15 is a budget-friendly option that offers decent performance for everyday tasks and is more affordable than the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED. It has a standard Full HD display, which is suitable for general use, but the color accuracy and brightness may not be as impressive as the OLED screen on the ASUS. The Acer's battery life is good, and it's designed for silent operation, which is great for quiet environments. It's also lighter and more compact, making it a better choice if portability is a priority for you.
On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED is a more premium choice with a higher resolution OLED display that delivers vibrant colors and deep blacks, which is excellent for media consumption and tasks that require color precision, such as photo editing. It also offers better performance with its more powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and Intel Arc graphics, making it more suitable for more demanding tasks like light gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. However, it's pricier, has a shorter battery life, and is less portable due to its larger size and weight.
In summary, if you need a laptop for basic tasks, value portability, and are on a tighter budget, the Acer Aspire 3 15 is a solid choice. But if you're willing to invest more for superior display quality, better performance, and don't mind a bulkier device, the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED would be the way to go. Give Feedback

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the ASUS Vivobook S 16 OLED compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
