The Acer Aspire 3 15 offers affordability and is suitable for everyday tasks, while the ASUS Zenbook S 13, being more expensive, provides higher performance and is better suited for intensive tasks such as engineering, 3D work, or gaming. The Zenbook S 13 is also more portable due to its smaller size and likely has a longer battery life, whereas the Aspire 3 has a larger screen which might be preferable for multitasking and media consumption. Your final choice should be based on your specific needs and budget; if portability and performance are priorities and within your budget, go for the Zenbook, but if you prefer a larger screen and are looking to save money, the Aspire 3 could suffice. The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 15's screen may be sufficient for tasks like browsing and video streaming, but its basic resolution and brightness may not provide the clarity required for detailed engineering work or the vibrant gaming experience. The ASUS Zenbook S 13's higher resolution and brightness enhance visual clarity and color reproduction for both general and professional design use, while its wider color gamut supports precise color work in engineering and design. However, both laptops' screens lack the high refresh rate desired for smooth visuals in fast-paced gaming and 3D rendering tasks.

"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
