The Acer Aspire 3 15 is a budget-friendly laptop, generally suitable for tasks like web browsing, document editing, and light media consumption. Its larger screen is beneficial for those who prefer a more spacious display, and it offers quiet, fanless operation, which is great in noise-sensitive environments. However, the tradeoff comes with lower storage capacity and weaker graphics, meaning it's not ideal for heavy graphics work or gaming.
On the other hand, the Acer Swift X is a more powerful machine with a dedicated graphics card, making it capable of handling more graphically intensive tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, and casual gaming. Additionally, it has a larger battery capacity and higher storage, but these features come at a higher price. Despite its smaller screen, the Swift X is more portable due to its lighter weight, and it also includes a backlit keyboard and features that may appeal to more demanding users.
In conclusion, for general use without the need for high performance, the Aspire 3 is more cost-effective, while the Swift X is better suited for users needing performance and portability despite the higher cost. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 15 has fair screen quality for general use due to its standard resolution and brightness, but these features are not outstanding. For engineering and design, its fair screen quality stems from adequate coverage of color gamuts, but it might not meet the demands of professionals requiring high color accuracy. On the other hand, its poor screen quality for gaming and 3D is due to a lower refresh rate which doesn't support the smooth visuals often needed in these applications, even though it has a satisfactory resolution and panel type.

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the Acer Swift X (2021) compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
