The Acer Aspire 3 14 is a budget-friendly option with a respectable battery life, making it suitable for general use and portability. It has a smaller screen and is lighter, which is advantageous for mobility. However, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15, while more expensive, offers superior performance suitable for intensive gaming, 3D modeling, and machine learning tasks with a better display for fast motion and a higher capacity battery, albeit at the cost of being heavier, which impacts portability. If you prioritize performance and screen quality over cost and portability, the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 is the better choice. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Aspire 3's screen may not be as bright or as vibrant, while the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 offers better resolution and brightness, making it easier on the eyes during daily tasks. How the Acer Aspire 3 14 and the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 compare to other laptops
"Asus continues to refine the ROG Strix Scar lineup with new upgrades. The Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 offers almost everything you would expect from a gaming laptop at this price. The build quality is great, connectivity options are decent, and there is enough scope for internal upgrades as well. Asus reverts to membrane switches for the keyboard — though not as "clickety" as the opto-mechanical ones we saw with last year's model, they still make for a decent typing and gaming experience. The lack of biometrics in any form is a downer."
