The Acer Aspire 1, being much less expensive, offers basic performance with modest storage and memory, suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and office applications. Its battery life is decent, and it's lightweight, which makes it highly portable. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66, at a higher price point, provides much better performance for demanding tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming due to its powerful processor and graphics card. It also has a better screen for fast motion and color-sensitive work but has shorter battery life and is slightly heavier, affecting portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Pulse GL66 is good for engineering and design, while the Acer Aspire 1 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 1, with its basic Intel Celeron processor and integrated graphics, is less suited for demanding engineering and design applications, while the MSI Pulse GL66's powerful Intel i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card make it well-equipped for such tasks. Moreover, the Acer has a TN panel with lower color accuracy, impacting screen quality for design work, in contrast to the MSI's IPS display that provides better color reproduction and screen quality.

The MSI Pulse GL66 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 1 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 1 has a screen that may not be sharp or bright enough for comfortable everyday tasks and lacks the color accuracy crucial for engineering and design work; it's also not ideal for fluid gaming and 3D applications due to its lower refresh rate. The MSI Pulse GL66 offers a modest improvement with acceptable sharpness and brightness for everyday tasks and some technical work but still falls short for professional design due to limited color range, and while slightly better, it's not optimal for gaming and 3D because of a refresh rate that doesn't match higher-end gaming laptops. In both cases, the limitations in screen quality impact user experience across various applications, with the MSI being a step up from the Acer, particularly for general and technical use, though serious gamers and design professionals may seek models with superior display features.

"There are no surprises and nothing's extraordinary here but this laptop's price. For those in need of an inexpensive Windows laptop for undemanding tasks, though, the Acer Aspire 1 offers just enough to get the basics done and a larger screen to do them on."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
