The Soundcore Life Q20 offers active noise cancellation, providing a quieter listening experience, which can be important if you want to block out ambient noise. They also have a wireless design, which adds convenience and freedom from wires. On the other hand, the Turtle Beach Recon 70 is designed specifically for gamers, offering a microphone for in-game communications, and may have tuning more suitable for gaming audio cues. If active noise cancellation and wireless connectivity are priorities, and you're willing to spend more, the Soundcore Life Q20 is suitable for you. However, if you want a budget-friendly option and need a microphone for gaming, the Turtle Beach Recon 70 is a better choice. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Christian Thomas | January 2022
"As far as headphones that cost under $100 go, the Anker Soundcore Life Q20 is a really solid option. Like any good tool, it does the job well without much guff, and it’s affordable to boot. Sure: it’s not going toe to toe with any of the higher-end models of ANC headphones out there—but the headphones do well enough for commuters that it’s a good stand-in if you were never planning on spending a bunch of money anyway."

Sound Guys

Sam Moore | September 2022
"There aren’t many considerations to make here. The Turtle Beach Recon 70 sounds decent, offers solid chat audio, feels good to wear over long periods, and it works everywhere. If you’re in the market for a simple plug-and-play option, you could do a whole lot worse (and spend a whole lot more money). Regardless, if getting something cheap that works well is the only thing you care about, this is a great option."
