If you're on a tight budget and primarily use earbuds for listening to music or watching TV, the Sony MDREX15AP may be the way to go; however, they are wired, lack modern features like active noise cancelling (ANC), and have lower overall sound quality. In contrast, the Soundcore Space A40 is more expensive but offers better sound quality, ANC, and wireless convenience, as well as sweatproof certification for exercise. The A40 also supports LDAC for better audio quality over Bluetooth and has a longer battery life, which could be beneficial if you're frequently on the go or for long listening sessions. If phone calls and gaming are important, neither are particularly strong in these areas. Give Feedback

Make It Sound Great

Pete Anthony | June 2022
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."

Sound Guys

Sam Smart | May 2023
"The Anker Soundcore Space A40 is an excellent deal if you want affordable noise canceling earbuds with great sound. The baseline frequency response is enjoyable, and the many EQ presets to choose from plus the ability to customize your sound profile makes it good for pretty much anyone. The noise canceling is quite good, and the many ear tips to choose from ensure a good fit for the noise canceling and isolation to do its job."
