If you prioritize gaming and want a headset with a superior microphone quality for voice chat, the JBL Quantum 100 would be a suitable choice as it offers good sound quality and is particularly rated very high for gaming. However, it's designed as over-ear headphones which might not be as portable or suitable for exercise as earbuds. On the other hand, the Sony MDREX15AP earbuds provide excellent portability and are highly comfortable, making them great for listening to TV and video content and daily commutes. They're also much less expensive than the JBL, but they wouldn't match the JBL's performance in gaming scenarios. If budget is a primary concern and you prefer a lightweight, portable option for music and video, the Sony earbuds may be the way to go. Give Feedback

"I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."
