If excellent mic quality for calls and meetings is a priority and you prefer over-ear headphones, the Rode NTH-100M would be a better choice despite being more expensive. However, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option primarily for TV and video use, the Sony MDREX15AP earbuds offer excellent performance in this area. Keep in mind the Rode NTH-100M provides very good sound for music and gaming as well, but does not support wireless connectivity, which impacts portability. The Sony earbuds, on the other hand, despite having good noise isolation and being very portable, have poorer overall sound quality compared to the Rode. Give Feedback

"The NTH-100M is a closed-back headset aimed at professional audiophiles—streamers, podcasters and content creators included—looking for masterful audio and a detachable 'broadcast-grade' microphone."
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."
