If gaming is a priority, Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds with their low latency mode are the better option. On the other hand, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 may be better for a variety of audio experiences including music, TV, and calls with excellent sound quality and active noise cancelling. They are also suitable for exercise with sweatproof certification. If budget is a concern and you're looking for an affordable choice with a solid gaming performance, the Razers could be more appealing, whereas the Sennheisers, though pricier, offer high-end sound fidelity and advanced features like Bluetooth LE and auracast, which might justify the extra cost for an audiophile or a frequent traveler looking for the best audio experience and noise isolation. The Verge

Chris Welch | August 2019
"This latest set is more “Pro” than not in both looks and features: they offer active noise cancellation, a low-latency gaming mode, and have switched to a in-ear design with silicone tips. Just like many of the company’s laptops and gaming accessories, the 2021 Hammerhead True Wireless include Razer’s full Chroma RGB system. It makes for what Razer calls “the ultimate wireless earbud flex.”"

What HiFi

Andy Madden | January 2024
"It’s fair to say our brief time with the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 was a generally positive one. Comfort levels seem similar to what we have experienced before and the general flavour of sound was to our liking although we need to get a pair in to test and put up against the big rivals at the money from Bose and Sony. It could be an interesting contest."
