The Philips Fidelio X2HR offers very good overall sound quality, a spacious soundstage, and excellent comfort, making them ideal for music and TV where detailed audio and comfort for long sessions matter. They have an open enclosure, which means sound will leak and others could hear what you're listening to, thus they're not suited for noisy environments or recording studios. They also lack wireless capability, but they do have a detachable cable. The Sony MDR-ZX110, while more budget-friendly and portable with a foldable design, provides only fair sound quality and may not be as comfortable. They have a closed design for better noise isolation but don't expect active noise cancellation. Neither are suitable for exercise or have advanced features like wireless connectivity or active noise cancelling; your choice should reflect whether your priority is higher sound quality and comfort (Philips) or budget-friendliness and portability (Sony). Audio.org | December 2022
"My opinion about Sony MDR ZX110 is they are the best budget headphones of Sony with top-class sound. Clear vocals, great bass, and balanced sound with low sound distortion. The treble could be sharper, but it's ok. 30 mm neodymium dynamic drivers give clear and precise audio, and an inline remote with a mic give decent call quality. Closed-Back Design also helps to improve sound performance."
