If you value overall sound quality and build quality, the KZ ZSN Pro might be the better choice, yet they're less comfortable for long periods compared to the Sony MDREX15AP. The ZSN Pro also offers a detachable cable which can be a bonus for durability and customization. However, the Sony MDREX15AP might be more suitable if you're looking for something very lightweight and portable, and they're also easier on the budget. Neither model supports wireless usage, and they both have limited mic quality, so neither would be ideal for calls and meetings. For listening to music during activities like commuting, the KZ ZSN Pro will offer a better experience, but for TV and video, the Sonys are recommended due to their excellent score in that category. "Undoubtedly the focus and the star of the show, the ZSN Pro’s bass is big, bold and bangin’. The amount of gusto in the low end should satisfy anyone who likes a large lick of bass and even certified bassheads will probably get a kick out of this."
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."
