If you're on a budget and need earbuds that are sweatproof and dustproof for exercise or outdoor activities, the Jlab Go Air Sport offers very good durability, comfort, and also comes with ear hooks for secure fit during intense workouts, making them suitable for exercise and sports. However, sound quality is poorer compared to the Sony Linkbuds which are more expensive, but provide a very good soundstage due to their open ring driver, making them suitable for those who prioritize sound and spatial audio experience. For calls and meetings or TV and gaming, neither are ideal, but if you enjoy listening to music and podcasts casually without isolating from your surroundings, prefer a lighter weight, and value additional features like an app with equalizer and battery life indicator, then the Sony Linkbuds are a better choice although you might have to charge them more frequently. PC Mag

Tim Gideon | April 2022
"If you want seriously bass-forward earphones for the gym, you'll be hard-pressed to find a pair more affordable than the JLab Go Air Sport. We like their long battery life and solid water-resistance rating, though we aren’t fans of their finicky on-ear controls and the case’s hardwired charging cable."

Sound Guys

Sam Moore | February 2022
"The Sony LinkBuds is definitely the most unique audio product to release so far in 2022, and it largely executes well on it's unoccluded design. However, it's hamstrung by all the same things as other unsealed earbuds."
