The JBL Tune Buds and Soundcore Space A40 earbuds are close competitors. If you're traveling a lot and prefer earbuds that are robust and portable with good noise isolation, the Space A40 might be the better option as they have active noise cancelling. However, if you require longer battery life, the Tune Buds offer a few more hours of use. While both earbuds are good for exercise, thanks to sweat and dust resistance, the Tune Buds are slightly larger which might impact comfort for some users. The Tune Buds are optimized for Android and Apple, whereas the Space A40 are not specifically optimized for these platforms. Additionally, the Soundcore Space A40 supports a lossless codec (LDAC), which is better for high-quality audio streaming, while the JBL Tune Buds do not. Ultimately, it depends on your priorities—battery life and device compatibility, or noise cancellation and audio codec support. Give Feedback

PC Mag

Tim Gideon | September 2023
"JBL’s Tune Buds stick with the company’s signature bass-heavy sound by default, but a quality in-app EQ lets you sculpt the audio to taste. These noise-cancelling true wireless earphones also mitigate environmental distractions fairly well for the price and offer good battery life. If you're specifically seeking bold, bass-tuned audio out of the box, the Tune Buds are worth a listen."

Sound Guys

Sam Smart | May 2023
"The Anker Soundcore Space A40 is an excellent deal if you want affordable noise canceling earbuds with great sound. The baseline frequency response is enjoyable, and the many EQ presets to choose from plus the ability to customize your sound profile makes it good for pretty much anyone. The noise canceling is quite good, and the many ear tips to choose from ensure a good fit for the noise canceling and isolation to do its job."
