The JBL Tune Buds are a pair of stemless, closed enclosure style earbuds best suited for those who are looking for affordability with good overall sound quality, comfort, and build. They are wireless with features like active noise cancelling, sweat and dustproof certifications, appealing for active use such as exercising and traveling. The buds support AAC codec which is great for Apple users, but they don't support a lossless codec, which audiophiles may not prefer. They are also optimized for both Android and Apple devices and include an app equalizer for sound customization. With a weight of 10.8 grams, they're fairly portable and come with a case that offers additional battery life. Call and meeting quality, as well as gaming and TV performance, may not be the best, but they have decent battery life for typical use and a very good portability score. If you're less concerned with very high-quality calls or gaming use and more interested in a solid, durable set of earbuds for general listening and active scenarios, these may work well for you. PC Mag

Tim Gideon | September 2023
"JBL’s Tune Buds stick with the company’s signature bass-heavy sound by default, but a quality in-app EQ lets you sculpt the audio to taste. These noise-cancelling true wireless earphones also mitigate environmental distractions fairly well for the price and offer good battery life. If you're specifically seeking bold, bass-tuned audio out of the box, the Tune Buds are worth a listen."
