If budget is a primary concern, the Soundcore Life Q20 is a cost-effective option as it is often significantly less expensive and offers good comfort, very good noise isolation, and excellent performance during air travel due to its active noise cancelling feature. However, for those preferring on-ear form and the convenience of a foldable design for portability, the JBL Tune 660NC would be a better fit despite its higher price; it also boasts a longer battery life, which could be a deciding factor if you're looking for longer listening sessions without frequent recharging. The JBL also has a detachable cable, which adds to its versatility. Both headphones support AAC codec for better sound quality on Apple devices, but neither supports a low latency mode, so they may not be the best for gaming or watching videos where audio syncing is crucial. Choose the Soundcore Life Q20 for more effective noise cancellation during flights and a more immersive music listening experience, or the JBL Tune 660NC for portability and longer battery life. SoundGuys

Chase Bernath | April 2023
"The JBL Tune 660NC is the best value you can get from a set of on-ear headphones. There's no companion app so you don't get many additional features, but everything the JBL Tune 660NC sets out to do, it does well. At this price, the JBL Tune 660NC is an easy recommendation for on-ear headphone lovers"

Sound Guys

Christian Thomas | January 2022
"As far as headphones that cost under $100 go, the Anker Soundcore Life Q20 is a really solid option. Like any good tool, it does the job well without much guff, and it’s affordable to boot. Sure: it’s not going toe to toe with any of the higher-end models of ANC headphones out there—but the headphones do well enough for commuters that it’s a good stand-in if you were never planning on spending a bunch of money anyway."
