If you prioritize comfort and battery life, you may lean towards the Skullcandy Dime 2 because they are more comfortable to wear for prolonged periods and offer a longer battery life. However, the JBL Quantum 100 is better for gaming, due to having a higher score in that area and a boom mic that tends to offer superior voice quality for in-game communication. The Dime 2 wins on portability, being more compact and thus easier to take on the go. The Dime 2 also supports wireless features, which the JBL Quantum 100 lacks, making them more convenient for mobile use but they trade-off with a lower comfort score for extended use compared to the Dime 2. So, if gaming and voice communication are your priorities, the JBL might suit you better, but for general use, especially when out and about, you might prefer the Skullcandy Dime 2. Give Feedback

"I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
"With the low price, it’s a low-risk investment. The Dime 2 is a decent set of backup buds for those times when you don’t want to risk your more upscale buds. If it weren’t for the lackluster battery life, I’d say everyone should have a pair as a spare for music."
