If budget is your main concern and you want a wired option specifically for gaming, JBL Quantum 100 is an economical choice with very good gaming performance and a boom mic, but may not be the best for calls and music. However, for a premium, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 offers superior overall sound quality, active noise cancelling, and excellent scores across various categories including music, calls, and gaming. They are also better suited for exercise and travel, featuring sweatproof certification, longer battery life, and a more compact, wireless design with the added convenience of wireless charging. "I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
"It’s fair to say our brief time with the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 was a generally positive one. Comfort levels seem similar to what we have experienced before and the general flavour of sound was to our liking although we need to get a pair in to test and put up against the big rivals at the money from Bose and Sony. It could be an interesting contest."
