The JBL Quantum 100 and Razer Kraken cater to different needs. If budget is a primary concern and you're looking for good microphone quality, the JBL Quantum 100 is the less expensive option and boasts a high mic quality score. However, the Razer Kraken scores higher in overall sound quality, comfort, build quality, and noise isolation, making it a better choice for immersive gaming, long listening sessions, and potentially better durability. Neither headset has wireless capabilities or active noise cancellation, and both are similar in portability and provided cable lengths. Remember, the Kraken may be more comfortable and deliver better overall audio, but you're also paying more compared to the Quantum 100. Give Feedback

CNN Underscored

Wes Davis | July 2023
"I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."

PC Gamer

Rob Dwiar | March 2019
"Generally the Kraken is a very comfortable headset and there’s nothing that really identifies it as anything else. All in, the Kraken performed exactly as I’d expect a premium, designated gaming headset to perform: performing well in game audio, though not quite with the same quality of those headsets further up the price scale."
