If gaming is your priority, the JBL Quantum 100 headphones offer very good gaming performance with stellar mic quality that'll benefit multiplayer experiences and voice chat. However, Jlab Go Air Sport earbuds are a better fit for exercise, as they're sweatproof, have secure fit accessories, and a more portable design. For travel and noise isolation, neither is particularly strong, but the Jlab earbuds have a longer battery life for extended use. On a budget, Jlab Go Air Sport could save you a little and still offer a very good build and call quality, but if sound fidelity in gaming is crucial and you don't mind being tethered by a cable, lean towards the JBL Quantum 100. "I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
"If you want seriously bass-forward earphones for the gym, you'll be hard-pressed to find a pair more affordable than the JLab Go Air Sport. We like their long battery life and solid water-resistance rating, though we aren’t fans of their finicky on-ear controls and the case’s hardwired charging cable."
