If you favor a more immersive gaming experience, then the JBL Quantum 100 headphones with their better gaming score and boom mic for clear communication would be the better choice, although they are not suited for use during exercise or travel due to their size and lack of wireless capability. Conversely, the JBL Vibe Beam True Wireless earbuds offer more flexibility for calls and meetings, higher portability, and the convenience of wireless usage, making them a better fit for exercise and travel; however, these lack virtual surround sound and may not be ideal for gaming due to a lower gaming score. The Vibe Beam earbuds also feature sweat and dust resistance, which the Quantum 100 headphones lack, enhancing their suitability for active users. Both options have similar sound quality for music, so your preference for earbuds versus headphones and the importance of gaming versus general versatility will influence your decision. CNN Underscored

Wes Davis | July 2023
"I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."

Headphone Dungeon

LaFonda | April 2023
"The Vibe Beam earbuds may not be a sleek as other earbuds in the price range, such as the equally priced Vibe Buds, but they sound great, have a long battery life, and come with an equalizer. And if you just need a solid pair if earbuds to get you through your commute, these will do the trick. I have no complaints here."
