If you prioritize high-quality sound and features like active noise cancelling, wireless convenience, and an app with customization options, the Bowers and Wilkins Pi7 S2 would be a better fit, especially for air travel and high-noise environments. However, they're more suited for short-term use given their battery life. The Sony MDR-ZX110, on the other hand, is a budget-friendly choice with a wired connection, meaning you won't have to worry about battery life, but they lack advanced features like noise cancelling and wireless connectivity and are less suitable for exercise or travel due to poor noise isolation and portability. Engadget

Billy Steele | March 2023
"While the overall sound quality is great, these earbuds fall short in terms of battery life, customization and ANC performance. Bowers & Wilkins’ ability to consistently deliver pristine sound isn’t enough to make up for what the Pi7 S2 lacks, which is unfortunately quite a bit."

Audio.org

Audio.org | December 2022
"My opinion about Sony MDR ZX110 is they are the best budget headphones of Sony with top-class sound. Clear vocals, great bass, and balanced sound with low sound distortion. The treble could be sharper, but it's ok. 30 mm neodymium dynamic drivers give clear and precise audio, and an inline remote with a mic give decent call quality. Closed-Back Design also helps to improve sound performance."
