If you prioritize high sound quality for music listening and don't mind a higher price, the Beyerdynamic 770 Pro (80 ohm) could be the better choice; however, they are bulky and not suited for exercise or travel. The Sony MDREX15AP is more affordable and portable, with excellent performance for TV and video, but the sound quality is not as high, and they lack features like active noise cancelling. Neither option supports wireless connectivity, so consider this if you prefer a cable-free experience. Choose Beyerdynamic for critical listening in quiet environments or Sony for casual, versatile use on the go. Give Feedback

"Altogether, when you consider its accessible price tag, the performance, the build, and its outstanding comfort, I think that the DT770 Pro is fantastic option for anyone looking for a closed-back headphone in the sub-$1,000 range, and I can confidently give it a strong recommendation."

Make It Sound Great

Pete Anthony | June 2022
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."
