The Baseus Bowie MA10 earbuds excel in comfort, have built-in controls, and are well-suited for exercise and air travel due to their sweatproof certification and good portability. They offer very good mic and build quality, and support AAC codec for better sound quality on Apple devices. However, they deliver only fair overall sound quality and are not recommended for music, calls, gaming, or TV. The JBL Quantum 100 headphones, on the other hand, provide a very good gaming experience with excellent microphone quality, but they're less comfortable and portable, and not optimal for exercise or air travel. Choose Baseus if portability and usage during physical activity are priorities along with mic quality for calls; opt for JBL for a focus on gaming and if you prefer the immersive feel of over-ear headphones. "Even if the Bowie MA10 only had some of the features and performance they offer at double the price, they’d be a helluva good value. But given that they far exceed any other earbuds at this price, if you’re looking for an ultra-affordable set of wireless earbuds and you don’t mind their big charging case, you just can’t go wrong."
"I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
