If you prioritize call quality and durability, consider the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7, which also offers active noise cancelling for improved noise isolation; it's particularly suitable for air travel and has a longer battery life per charge. However, it's more expensive than the "Nothing" Brand Ear Stick. On the other hand, the Ear Stick is lighter and provides a unique ear/head detection feature, making it optimal for users who prefer a seamless listening experience when removing earbuds. It's also optimized for both Android and Apple devices. For active lifestyles or outdoor use, the Ear Stick's sweatproof and dustproof design is beneficial, yet its lack of active noise cancelling and poorer noise isolation might be a drawback for noisy environments. Both have low latency modes suitable for gaming and watching TV, but for budget-conscious shoppers focused on varied use including exercise and looking for contemporary design, the Ear Stick emerges as the cost-effective choice. How the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 and the "Nothing" Brand Ear Stick compare to other earbuds and headphones
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
"If the Ear (stick) fits your ears, its light weight means you can easily wear it until the unimpressive battery life totally drains. The IP54 rating of the buds lends some confidence that it’ll survive some light abuse too. Finally, for the person who only wears earbuds at their desk, the Nothing Ear (stick) with its decent microphone could offer a reasonable Zoom meeting solution."
