If you prioritize call quality and a robust build, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 offers excellent performance in these areas, and they come with active noise cancelling for quieter environments. They support LDAC for high-quality audio over Bluetooth and have a low latency mode, which can be advantageous for gaming and watching videos. However, they come at a midrange price. On the other hand, the Creative Labs Zen Air is a budget-friendly option that delivers good sound quality and mic performance, with added benefits like wireless charging, but lacks noise cancellation and the audio fidelity provided by LDAC. They aren't the best choice for gaming or TV due to their lack of a low latency mode. Choose the ATH-TWX7 for higher-quality sound and calls, and the Zen Air for a budget-conscious option with satisfactory performance and wireless charging convenience. Give Feedback

Engadget

Billy Steele | January 2024
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."

Headphone Check

Maike Paeßens | February 2023
"The Creative Zen Air’s weak points are its low battery life and rather short Bluetooth range. On the other hand, the strengths of these weatherproof True Wireless in-Ears are the sound and the wide attenuation of the Active Noise Cancellation. Considering the price range, the speech intelligibility during calls is also exceptionally good."
