The Creative Labs Zen Air earbuds are a budget-friendly option known for their stemmed design and closed enclosure, providing a degree of passive noise isolation. They're wireless with active noise canceling, which is a bonus for minimizing ambient sounds. The earbuds support AAC codec for better sound quality on Apple devices and are sweatproof certified, making them suitable for exercise. However, the overall sound and build quality, comfort, and microphone quality are rated as poor, so they might not be the best choice for critical listening or long calls. For those who travel, these earbuds offer good portability and a modest battery life of 5 hours, extendable to 17 hours with the charging case, which also supports wireless charging. Despite lower scores in most categories, they could still be a good entry-level option for casual listening, especially for users who prioritize affordability and active noise cancelling. Headphone Check

Maike Paeßens | February 2023
"The Creative Zen Air’s weak points are its low battery life and rather short Bluetooth range. On the other hand, the strengths of these weatherproof True Wireless in-Ears are the sound and the wide attenuation of the Active Noise Cancellation. Considering the price range, the speech intelligibility during calls is also exceptionally good."
