If price is a significant factor for you, the Audio Technica ATH M20X may be appealing due to being generally less expensive than the Soundcore Life Q30. However, if you value wireless convenience and active noise cancellation, the Life Q30 would be a better choice, despite the higher cost. The ATH M20X is wired and doesn't include noise cancellation, making it less versatile but potentially offering better sound quality than typical wireless options. Consider also your listening environment - the noise cancellation on the Life Q30 can be a significant advantage in noisy spaces. If you're using them in a quiet environment, prefer studio-style sound, or are using them for tasks requiring precise audio work, the ATH M20X is likely preferable. Give Feedback

Soundguys

Jasper Lastoria | September 2023
"Audio-Technica positively defies what you can expect for around $50. Ultimately, Audio-Technica did not design the ATH-M20x to go on the subway with you. It’s for the budget-conscious, do-it-yourself producer, podcaster, or studio that needs to buy tracking cans in bulk. If you don’t need the most deluxe, comfortable headphones, maybe you’ll like the ATH-M20x for its spartan functionality. The headphones are aimed at giving you the minimum requirements without it feeling like a sacrifice."

"Every once in a while, headphones with an excellent price/performance ratio arrive that truly deserves all attention. Anker Soundcore Life Q30 are one of those headphones. Of course, they aren’t perfect, but they do most things better than their competition. Or they give you the option to make them better."
