If you prioritize sound quality especially for music listening and don't mind a longer cable, the Audio Technica ATH M20X is a strong choice; however, it's not as comfortable for long periods. On the other hand, the Sennheiser HD 400S offers a more comfortable fit, a shorter cable, and has a built-in microphone which is suitable for calls and meetings. The Sennheiser is also more suited for gaming due to better suitability scores in that area. Neither model is wireless, and both are intended for stationary use as they're not recommended for exercise or travel due to their size and lack of noise cancellation. Give Feedback

Soundguys

Jasper Lastoria | September 2023
"Audio-Technica positively defies what you can expect for around $50. Ultimately, Audio-Technica did not design the ATH-M20x to go on the subway with you. It’s for the budget-conscious, do-it-yourself producer, podcaster, or studio that needs to buy tracking cans in bulk. If you don’t need the most deluxe, comfortable headphones, maybe you’ll like the ATH-M20x for its spartan functionality. The headphones are aimed at giving you the minimum requirements without it feeling like a sacrifice."

"Sennheiser has done it again. The HD 400S performs well beyond its price range and is one of the better budget model headphones I’ve tried. It has very few bells and whistles and offers a simple means of listening that still delivers amazing clarity and quality. If you need a good first pair of headphones or need something that you can take out of the house, then the HD 400S is definitely for you."
