The Audio Technica ATH M20X headphones, being less expensive, offer a better overall sound quality and a more immersive experience for TV and video due to their over-ear, closed-back design. However, their larger size makes them less portable, and they lack a built-in microphone, which limits their use for calls and meetings. On the other hand, the Earfun Air Pro 2 earbuds are somewhat more expensive and provide good noise isolation with active noise cancelling and sweatproof features, making them suitable for exercise and air travel. They are more comfortable and have integrated microphones for calls, but have lower sound quality for music and gaming compared to the Audio Technica. Thus, your decision should be based on whether you prioritize better sound and budget-friendliness over portability, comfort, and extra features like noise cancellation and call clarity. Soundguys

Jasper Lastoria | September 2023
"Audio-Technica positively defies what you can expect for around $50. Ultimately, Audio-Technica did not design the ATH-M20x to go on the subway with you. It’s for the budget-conscious, do-it-yourself producer, podcaster, or studio that needs to buy tracking cans in bulk. If you don’t need the most deluxe, comfortable headphones, maybe you’ll like the ATH-M20x for its spartan functionality. The headphones are aimed at giving you the minimum requirements without it feeling like a sacrifice."

Headphone Addict

Peter Susic | September 2021
"There’s a lot to like about EarFun Air Pro 2. The best thing about them is the active noise cancellation, which works almost as well as the best true wireless earbuds out there. The audio quality is funky but enjoyable. Good dynamics and a wider soundstage save its presentation. Everyone, apart from the most diehard audiophiles, should be happy with it."
