The Audeze Maxwell offers exceptional sound quality and performance for music, gaming, and TV, with high-quality built materials and advanced features such as planar magnetic drivers and lossless codec compatibility. They are also equipped with a boom microphone for clear calls. While they have a long battery life, they are heavy and not as portable as other headphones. In contrast, the JBL Tune 760NC are more affordable, lighter, foldable for better portability, and provide active noise cancelling. However, their overall performance in sound quality and battery life is not as highly rated as the Maxwell's, and they do not support lossless codecs or dongle connections. If cost isn't a concern and you're seeking top-notch audio fidelity and performance for a variety of activities including serious gaming and professional use, choose Audeze Maxwell. On the other hand, for casual, everyday use, the JBLs offer good value and are easier to carry around. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Christian Thomas | August 2023
"Despite a few caveats, the Audeze Maxwell is one of the best-performing gaming headsets on the market and should top the ranks for a few buyers — provided the budget (and neck strength) is there. Gaming headsets have their work cut out for them, and their audience is historically unkind to performance flaws. If you’re an older gamer with some cash to blow, you should be pleased with the Audeze Maxwell."

Major HiFi

Staff | May 2023
"The JBL 760NC offers quite a solid and moderately-above-average sonic performance for wireless headphones in this price tier. As usual, JBL outperforms more conventional big names like Apple or Beats. Listeners are given a clean, detailed, and mostly neutral sound that, typical to Harman, holds a universal appeal that seems unlikely to offend."
