If superior sound quality is your priority and you don't mind the extra expense, the Audeze LCD 2 Classic may be the way to go; they're known for their excellent soundstage and music listening experience. However, they're also quite heavy and less portable. The Sennheiser HD600, on the other hand, offers great sound quality and is generally more comfortable and lighter, making them easier to wear for extended periods. They're also less costly. Neither option supports wireless connectivity or active noise cancelling, and they both lack a built-in microphone, thus are not optimal for calls. Both are open-back headphones, which means they're not the best for noisy environments as they let sound in and out. Give Feedback

"These headphones outdo rival planar magnetic headphones, especially in terms of dynamics. Compared to the Hifiman Ananda or the Hifiman Edition XS there is noticeably more slam in the sound, particularly in the bass. The LCD-2C gives you a fantastic sense of quiet dynamics with crystalline precision. This is evident also in our clinical tests, where it’s just easier to understand spoken text at very low volumes."
"The HD600 are state-of-the-art headphones with high sound quality and remarkable value, among most of the offerings in today’s time."
