If you prioritize portability and the convenience of not dealing with wires, the Antlion Kimura Duo may be the better choice, as they are earbuds and likely more compact, also offering the flexibility to use in a variety of settings including exercise or commuting. However, if sound quality and durability are your main concerns, and you're using them in more stationary settings like home or studio, the Audio Technica ATH M20X headphones might be preferable despite being larger and wired. Note that wired headphones such as the ATH M20X often deliver more reliable audio transmission with no latency issues, which is important for activities like monitoring audio during recording or in professional settings. The extra cost of the Antlion Kimura Duo might reflect additional features like wireless connectivity, a built-in microphone for calls, or noise-cancellation technology, which the more affordable ATH M20X may not have. Headphones Addict

Peter Susic | February 2023
"Antlion Kimura Duo aren’t packed with features, but the ones they offer, work incredibly well. Especially the boom mic delivers very clean call quality with no distortion. If you explicitly look for gaming in-ear monitors with a reliable microphone, Antlion Kimura Duo are your best option."

Soundguys

Jasper Lastoria | September 2023
"Audio-Technica positively defies what you can expect for around $50. Ultimately, Audio-Technica did not design the ATH-M20x to go on the subway with you. It’s for the budget-conscious, do-it-yourself producer, podcaster, or studio that needs to buy tracking cans in bulk. If you don’t need the most deluxe, comfortable headphones, maybe you’ll like the ATH-M20x for its spartan functionality. The headphones are aimed at giving you the minimum requirements without it feeling like a sacrifice."
