If you're primarily focused on high-quality sound for music and critical listening in a quiet environment, the AKG K712 Pro headphones would be an excellent choice; however, they are open-backed, meaning they won't isolate noise well and they are not portable. On the other hand, if you need something for casual use, such as making calls, some exercises, and listening on the go, the Creative Labs Zen Air earbuds offer good sound and features like wireless design and active noise cancelling at a budget-friendly price, yet wouldn't compare in sound quality or comfort for longer sessions like the AKGs. Headfonics

Michael | October 2013
"AKG has created a mini-masterpiece in my opinion. I enjoy this headphone a great deal and it will become my go-to reference headphone for the time being. She is slick, sexy, well-balanced, and crazy comfortable."

Headphone Check

Maike Paeßens | February 2023
"The Creative Zen Air’s weak points are its low battery life and rather short Bluetooth range. On the other hand, the strengths of these weatherproof True Wireless in-Ears are the sound and the wide attenuation of the Active Noise Cancellation. Considering the price range, the speech intelligibility during calls is also exceptionally good."

About Creative Labs

Creative Labs is a Singaporean technology company specialized in the manufacture of multimedia products. Nowadays, besides still marketing their discrete audio systems, they offer a wide array of headphones, gaming headsets and speakers that still preserve that same heritage.
