If budget is a major consideration, the AKG K361 being significantly less expensive could be more appealing. For dedicated music listening, the Sennheiser IE600, with its best in class sound quality, may be worth the premium price. The AKG K361 offers very good general sound quality and is better suited for watching TV and videos, but it's less portable and doesn't excel in call quality or during exercise. The Sennheiser IE600 has excellent build quality and is very portable, making it great for air travel and its sound quality is exceptional for books and podcasts. Neither option is ideal for gaming due to potential latency issues, and both have poor mic quality, which might affect calls or online multiplayer games. If noise isolation is important, both provide fair to good performance, but without active noise cancelling. Choose the AKG K361 for a more affordable, comfortable over-ear experience that's great for longer listening sessions, or the Sennheiser IE600 for a portable, premium listening experience with superior audio quality. "The K361 retains much of what makes the K371 such a winner, though it has a leaner sound, and the build changes made to trim the price down are immediately apparent. Still, it’s another excellent offering from AKG, and other companies in this fight should either be very worried or quickly designing updates to their old models."
"If you've got the bucks, the Sennheiser IE 600 is a nice, upscale set of in-ear monitors made of a lightweight metal with an unusual texture. It comes with a suite of extras, and performs well at virtually every task."
