The AKG K361 offers a higher overall sound quality which would be great for general music listening, and they are more affordable. They also have a detachable cable and are foldable, adding to their convenience. On the other hand, the Rode NTH-100M, while more expensive, includes a microphone, making them better suited for calls and meetings. The Rode also scores higher for gaming and book/podcast listening experiences. If you're looking for versatile headphones for a variety of activities including calls and gaming, and don't mind spending a bit more, the Rode NTH-100M could be a better choice. Give Feedback

Medium

Alex Rowe | November 2019
"The K361 retains much of what makes the K371 such a winner, though it has a leaner sound, and the build changes made to trim the price down are immediately apparent. Still, it’s another excellent offering from AKG, and other companies in this fight should either be very worried or quickly designing updates to their old models."

"The NTH-100M is a closed-back headset aimed at professional audiophiles—streamers, podcasters and content creators included—looking for masterful audio and a detachable 'broadcast-grade' microphone."
