If you prioritize high sound quality and use them for gaming, the EPOS PC38X is superior, offering great soundstage and a built-in boom mic, which is ideal for multiplayer games and calls. However, the AKG K361 with a closed design provides better noise isolation, making them suitable for noisier environments. The K361 is also foldable, making them more portable. The EPOS PC38X has an open design, which typically results in a more natural sound, but they do not isolate noise as well. Price-wise, the AKG is less expensive but lacks the microphone and the open design for a broad sound experience that the EPOS provides. Give Feedback

Medium

Alex Rowe | November 2019
"The K361 retains much of what makes the K371 such a winner, though it has a leaner sound, and the build changes made to trim the price down are immediately apparent. Still, it’s another excellent offering from AKG, and other companies in this fight should either be very worried or quickly designing updates to their old models."

Everyday Listening

Ryan Soo | November 2021
"Lightweight and comfortable design, Mic arm with mute, Excellent tuning, Highly natural midrange voicing, Clean and separated bass, Solid soundstage dimensions. Combining all day comfort and integrated coms with a balanced and spacious sound from essentially any source, it is hard to deny the versatility and value provided by the PC38X."
