If price and sound quality for music and TV are your primary concerns and you primarily use a wired connection, the AKG K361 would better suit your needs due to their lower midrange price and very good overall sound quality for these purposes. However, they lack wireless capabilities, so if you need mobility or use them during exercise, the sweatproof and wireless Beats Fit Pro, with very good portability and secure fit wingtips for stable use, would be preferable even at a slightly higher price. The Beats Fit Pro also offers active noise canceling for better noise isolation during air travel and optimized features for Apple users, like the H1 chip for adaptive sound and lower latency, but they may not be ideal for gaming or watching TV due to poor soundstage and latency issues outside Apple devices. "The K361 retains much of what makes the K371 such a winner, though it has a leaner sound, and the build changes made to trim the price down are immediately apparent. Still, it’s another excellent offering from AKG, and other companies in this fight should either be very worried or quickly designing updates to their old models."
"The Beats Fit Pro is just as easy to use with an Android device as it is with an iPhone. It seems Apple-owned Beats is trying to appeal to a wider market, and it works. The Fit Pro fits like a pro with the ear tip fit test and multiple ear tips. Sound quality is sure to please most athletes, but the Fit Pro is just at home in the office as it is in the gym. The main factor holding the Beats Fit Pro back from gold is the price."
