If sound quality for music is a priority and you prefer wired earbuds with the option to swap cables for balanced audio, the 7hz Timeless offers excellent build quality and very good sound. However, they are not ideal for calls due to poor mic quality, lack features for exercise, and do not have wireless capabilities. Conversely, the Creative Labs Zen Air is more budget-friendly, with good overall sound quality and wireless convenience, a better fit for calls and meetings, and suitable for exercise due to being sweatproof. They also feature active noise cancelling, which is absent in the 7hz Timeless, and support for codecs like AAC for better audio with Apple devices, but they have a lesser soundstage compared to the 7hz Timeless. "7Hz picked a bold name for the Timeless and frankly, got very close to justifying their word choice. Most importantly, the Timeless are good to go in stock form, so you don’t have to worry about source-matching and such. I can recommend the 7Hz Timeless to those who do not mind a dash of brightness up top, want a taste of planar in IEM form, and want one of the most resolving pair of earphones in the $150 - $300 price range."
"The Creative Zen Air’s weak points are its low battery life and rather short Bluetooth range. On the other hand, the strengths of these weatherproof True Wireless in-Ears are the sound and the wide attenuation of the Active Noise Cancellation. Considering the price range, the speech intelligibility during calls is also exceptionally good."
